This totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) round body C-face motor is engineered for industrial environments requiring high reliability and safety. It supports three-phase, 60 Hz operation with a 1.15 service factor (continuous) and is factory self-certified for hazardous locations (Class I, Div. 2, Groups B, C, D, Temp Code T3C minimum). The motor features Class F insulation, Class B temperature rise, and NEMA Design B torques, with select ratings meeting Design C. Its construction includes a cast iron frame, end brackets, and main conduit box, with a rolled steel fan cover and grounding terminal. The oversized conduit box is rotatable for flexible installation. Additional features include bi-directional rotation, aluminum die cast squirrel cage rotor, rust-proof paint system, double shielded or regreasable bearings, and a stainless steel nameplate.
