The Cast Iron ODP NEMA Premium AC Motor is a three-phase, open drip proof (ODP) motor designed for general industrial use where high efficiency and reliable performance are required. It features a cast iron frame and end brackets for durability, rolled steel main conduit box, and a 1045 carbon steel shaft. The motor is suitable for continuous operation at 60 Hz with a 1.15 service factor and at 50 Hz with a 1.0 service factor. It is equipped with class F insulation, class B temperature rise, and NEMA Design B torques. The oversized, rotatable main conduit box and bi-directional rotation capability provide installation flexibility. Bearings are pre-packed or regreasable depending on frame size, and the motor is suitable for inverter use per NEMA MG-1.4.4.2, Part 31.
