The Crusher Duty Low Voltage AC Motor (MAX-HT) is a three-phase, totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motor engineered for demanding industrial applications such as crushers and heavy-duty processing equipment. Designed for continuous operation at 60 Hz with a 1.15 service factor and 50 Hz at 1.0 service factor, it is CSA certified for hazardous locations (Class I, Div. 2, Groups B, C, D and Class II, Div. 2, Groups F & G for larger frames). Key features include a robust cast iron frame and end brackets, high-strength 4140 AISI steel shaft, aluminum die cast squirrel cage rotor, and a phenolic rust-proof base with polyurethane top coat. The oversized, rotatable main conduit box and bi-directional rotation capability enhance installation flexibility. The motor is inverter duty rated, suitable for variable and constant torque applications, and includes thermistors for thermal protection. Additional features such as regreasable bearings, labyrinth-type metal flingers, and stainless steel nameplate ensure durability and reliability in harsh environments.
