The Explosion Proof TEFC NEMA Premium Efficiency Motor is a three-phase, totally enclosed fan cooled motor engineered for hazardous environments requiring explosion-proof protection and high efficiency. It is certified for Class I, Div. 1, Groups C & D and Class II, Groups E, F, and G, with temperature codes T2D/T3B. The motor features a cast iron frame, end brackets, and main conduit box, along with a 1045 carbon steel shaft and aluminum die cast squirrel cage rotor. It is equipped with Class F insulation, Class B temperature rise, and NEMA Design B torques. Standard features include a Klixon temperature limiting switch, oversized rotatable main conduit box, and stainless steel breather drains. The motor is inverter duty rated, UL listed, and suitable for continuous operation in ambient temperatures up to 40°C and elevations up to 3300 ft.
