The MAX-PE Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled Motor is a three-phase industrial motor designed for demanding environments requiring robust performance and reliability. Certified for hazardous locations (Class I, Div. 2, Groups B, C, D), it is suitable for continuous operation at 60 Hz with a 1.15 service factor and at 50 Hz with a 1.0 service factor. The motor is equipped with Class F insulation, Class B temperature rise, and NEMA Design B torques, with select ratings meeting Design C. Its oversized, rotatable main conduit box and dual column nameplate design provide installation flexibility. The MAX-PE motor is inverter duty rated, supports bi-directional rotation, and is suitable for use in environments up to 40°C and 3300 ft. elevation. Additional features include double shielded or regreasable bearings, labyrinth-type metal flingers, and a phenolic rust-proof base with polyurethane top coat.
