This open drip proof medium voltage AC motor is designed for three-phase, 60 Hz operation with a 1.15 service factor for continuous duty. It features a cast iron frame and end brackets, 1045 carbon steel shaft, and a robust aluminum die cast squirrel cage rotor for frames 449T and below. The motor includes 100 Ohm platinum stator RTDs, space heaters, and a fully gasketed, oversized main conduit box that can be rotated in 90-degree increments. Suitable for inverter use per NEMA MG-1.4.4.2, Part 31, it is built for demanding industrial environments, supporting bi-directional rotation (except 2-pole models) and operation at 40°C ambient temperature and 3300 ft. elevation. Additional features include regreasable high-quality bearings, stainless steel nameplate, and CSA approval.
