The TEFC SS Medium Voltage High Thrust AC Motor is engineered for vertical applications demanding high thrust and medium voltage operation. This three-phase, totally enclosed fan-cooled motor features a 'P' base, cast iron frame, and steel plate fan cover for enhanced durability. It is CSA certified for hazardous locations (Class I, Div. 2) and includes features such as non-sparking ball type NRR, space heaters, and oversized conduit boxes. The motor is inverter duty per NEMA MG-1 standards, with oil-lubricated angular contact or spherical thrust bearings and re-greasable guide bearings. Designed for 40°C ambient and 3300 ft elevation, it is suitable for use in industrial pumping, vertical turbine, and similar applications requiring reliable high thrust performance.
