Teco-Westinghouse - Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled AC Motor (Global Max TEFC)

The Global Max TEFC is a totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) AC motor designed for medium voltage, three-phase industrial applications. It is CSA certified for hazardous locations (Class I, Div. 2 and Class II, Div. 2) and operates with a 1.15 service factor for continuous duty. The motor features a cast iron frame and end brackets, a 1045 carbon steel shaft, and a squirrel cage copper bar rotor. It includes an oversized, rotatable steel main conduit box, high-quality regreasable bearings, and a robust paint system for corrosion resistance. Additional features include provisions for bearing RTDs, space heaters, and a stainless steel nameplate. Suitable for inverter use per NEMA MG-1.4.4.2, Part 31, this motor is ideal for demanding environments where reliability and safety are critical.
