This WPI (Weather Protected Type I) medium voltage high thrust vertical AC motor is built for demanding industrial applications requiring high thrust and reliability. Designed for three-phase, 60 Hz operation with a 1.15 service factor, it features a cast iron frame and end brackets, solid carbon steel shaft, and aluminum die cast squirrel cage rotor for frames 449TP and below. The motor includes a coupling with gib key, drip/splash cover, space heaters, and a fully gasketed, oversized main conduit box. It is suitable for inverter duty per NEMA MG-1 Part 31, with oil-lubricated thrust bearings and regreasable guide bearings for larger frames. The stainless steel nameplate and CSA/UL recognition ensure compliance and durability in harsh environments.
