Tractian now meets the highest bar in U.S. government security. Here's what that means for every organization that trusts us with its data.
Tractian is now available to federal agencies through a FedRAMP® High authorized cloud environment, deployed in AWS GovCloud through our partnership with Knox Systems. This authorization clears some of the most rigorous security and data-handling standards the U.S. government defines, the same bar required to protect the most sensitive federal data in the country.
The organizations that run critical operations - whether that means regulated industries, the mission readiness of the defense supply chain, or any environment where security is non-negotiable - can now hold Tractian to a standard that leaves nothing to assumption.
What FedRAMP® High means
FedRAMP® is the U.S. government-wide program that standardizes security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud services used by federal agencies. It certifies the environment an application runs in, the cloud itself, against strict federal data rules.
Tractian runs in AWS GovCloud, the audited, access-restricted version of AWS built for government workloads, and holds authorization at the High baseline, the strongest level FedRAMP defines. High is what allows a system to support the full range of agencies and their most sensitive data categories. With the authorized environment in place, federal agencies can adopt Tractian without undertaking the lengthy authorization process typically required for new cloud environments.
The same Industrial AI, now available to federal agencies
This is not a commercial product wearing a badge. It is the same frontier of industrial AI already relied on across the Americas, now delivered under federal authorization. Data handling and deployment change. The intelligence does not.
Tractian reads machine condition in real time and turns it into earlier warning, catching developing failures before they become downtime, so operations stay running and mission-ready.
Deploy on your terms
Security posture varies by mission, so deployment does too:
- GovCloud (FedRAMP® High): the default for most government and government-adjacent operations, running in the audited AWS environment for federal data.
- On-premise / edge: runs on the customer's own servers, with Tractian never accessing the environment, for when cloud is off the table.
- Air-gapped / disconnected: fully local, no internet connection at all, for the most restricted facilities.
The deployment matches the environment, from a municipal utility to a fully disconnected facility. Your assets, your rules.
Built to extend your team, not replace it
Tractian extends what a team can see and anticipate. It does not replace the people who run the operation. Earlier warning, a fuller picture, and time to act. The decision, and the mission, stay with the operator.
Continuous monitoring after authorization
FedRAMP High authorized deployment is not a finish line. It is an ongoing commitment to continuous monitoring, security improvement, and meeting the evolving requirements of the organizations that depend on Tractian. As more of the industrial base modernizes how it protects critical assets, we're committed to delivering intelligence that is secure, adaptable, and built for the realities of the environments it runs in.
