Finance at TRACTIAN

The Finance team leads financial planning, analysis and customer billing, as well as corporate development, which includes board communications, investor relations, and fundraising. We strive to be agents of change, rather than a reporting function. We’re integrated with the business units and partner closely with them to evaluate key questions, solve problems, and drive results. Additionally, through our corporate development efforts, we are deeply involved in long-term planning and major strategic decisions for the company.


What you'll do

As Contador Senior you'll be responsible for the accounting books of Mexico company. You'll work close to the external accounting firm and with the finance team, so you'll create and manage process and make sure our operation is reflected on the books. You'll also take a key role in the SAP implementation we'll perform this semester, coordinating the process with the consultants. On this position you'll have to be very hands on, when creating the process you'll probably be the one that'll maintain then on the first times. The company is expecting to have its 2023 financials audited, so your work will reflect directly on it.

Responsibilities

Validate the accounting books and make sure new movements and corrections are passed to the accounting firm in Mexico.

Create and maintain process necessary for the audit process and to the accounting process.

Manage the other members of the finance team to make sure the process are followed and implemented.

Prepare and conduct the audit process of the financial statements.

Conduct the SAP implementation process.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field.

3+ years of Finance and/or Accounting experience about Mexico.

Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS).

Previous experience with conducting audit process.

Experience with ERP software implementation/configuration.

Bonus Points

Experience with SAP ERP.

Familiarity with intercompany accounting and results consolidation.
